House Sitter in Phoenix, Arizona

I'm an
Individual
I have 22 years pet sitting and house-sitting experience. I've cared for dogs, cats, fish, birds and even an Arabian horse. I'm knowledgeable about animal behavior and am empathic with both well-behaved and difficult animals. I have two cats of my own. My prior dog had severe separation anxiety when I got him as a pup. He'd been abandoned multiple times by prior owners. I learned to train the anxiety out of him and now pass this skill (and other insights) onto my clients. For my prices, I don't differentiate between the number of hours you want me at your home, how frequent you want the blinds turns, the mail checked, the kinds of pets you have, how often they should be walked, played with, or fed, or other owner requirements: One price covers it all. I'm bonded, insured, a member of Pet Sitters International, and have two personal character references that are hard to beat. One is a recently retired FBI Special Agent & Executive who's been personally requested by the pope to advise him on the state of human trafficking and who's spoken to the United Nations on Cyber Security. I've watched my clients' homes and their pets in the Phoenix Valley in everything from small condos to mountain mansions, while they were on weekend trips, two-weeks trips, and summer-long. I ghostwrite memoirs for entrepreneurs and innovators. I'm also a novelist, screenwriter, intern mentor, writing coach, and art director for ’26 Blocks’, a Phoenix-based writing, photography, sculpture, and illustration art exhibit which I created, directed, and curated. USA Today said it’s “not to be missed… one of the most amazing things to do in Arizona… A great model for other cities.” I'm a single, non-smoking Phx native and live in the Coronado Historic District with my two adorable cats: Bubba, a Russian Blue, and his Calico sister, Boo. Why does a successful author also have a pet-sitting business? I do it because I get to write while spending time with pets and, at the same time, create an additional source of income. Plus, it's fun and I'm great at it. For more info, please see my website PetSittingAuthor (dot) com. You'll find my email and cell phone to contact me that way, or if you prefer, you are welcome to use this HouseSitter website. I look forward to hearing from you! ~ Joey Robert Parks
