Hello there. I have been an elementary teacher for almost twenty years, but with COVID-19 and diabetes I don't feel safe going back this year. That's not to say I'm not healthy, I am very active and hope to keep it that way, hence the hiatus from school buildings. I'm as responsible, trustworthy and caring as you could want. I have been a homeowner and I will care for your place as if it is my own. I love all pets, with the exception of creepie-crawlies (though as long as I don't have to hold them, they're okay too.) I'm an avid walker, averaging about 5 miles a day, so if your pup enjoys that I'm the person for them. If they enjoy cuddles and petting, double bonus. I can learn whatever is needed to keep your animal companions content. I did house sit for a couple weeks for a friend a couple years ago and took care of her dog, mail etc. All went well and it was a positive experience for both of us. Not bonded/insured etc. but I am willing to do so. I think a contract or agreement of some sort is a good idea for both of us. Of course I have a totally clear criminal record.... well, there is a speeding ticket, but other than that occasional lapse I am 100% trustworthy and tidy. I am a full on and intelligent grown-up, so pretty much whatever you need in regard to home sitting, pet care and gardening is a go. I have a bit of a green thumb and can likely keep your indoor and outdoor plants quite happy.
