House Sitter in Evanston, Illinois

Hi, I will be coming to Chicago from 18th of June to 18th of July. I'm traveling with my very laid-back 6 year old daughter. For part of the time, my husband will be joining us. I am hoping to find a housesitting position for all or part of that time. Evanston/Wilmette/Skokie or Rogers Park preferred, but would consider all of Chicagoland. My husband and I are both professionals (I'm a former teacher, he is a software developer). We are happy to care for plants, collect mail, etc. I'm experienced in caring for dogs but am sadly allergic to most cats.
