Summary: Hello! We are John and Piper - a handy, animal-loving caretaker couple (plus Super Dave the wonder pup) with 8 years of combined caretaking and handy-person experience. We are hoping to find house sitting positions as we travel around in our handmade campervan - so availability is flexible! Skills: We are no strangers to home care and maintenance having gutted and renovated an entire house single-handedly, built a campervan from scratch, and co-founded a tool-lending library and public woodworking shop where we hosted classes from Plumbing 101 to furniture making. Piper, having grown up on her aunt's horse ranch has many years of ranch-sitting experience for an array of animals - horses, alpacas, dogs, cats, ducks, and even a pig named Posey. We can also take care of plants and gardens, mail collecting, and guest check in/out should you choose to rent your home out while away. We have personal transportation available and living quarters in our campervan if need be! About Super Dave: Super is our very special mutt that was raised in a noisy public woodshop with a slew of other dogs, kids, adults, and chaos - to say he is "mellow" is an understatement, and he currently has his Canine Good Citizen certification and we are working on his Therapy Dog Certification.
