House Sitter in Blue Diamond, Nevada

Here is a little about myself: I have been a business owner as well as a home owner. I sold my tapas restaurant in 2016 and my home of 14 years in the summer of 2017 in Milwaukee, WI. The main reason for selling is so I would be free to travel, and to spend more time with my family in Nevada. I have family in friends around the country that I was unable to see as much as I would like because of the rigors of being a business owner. Before selling my 1896 Victorian I personally did a lot of the restoration- many hours of sanding original doors and stairs! I love architecture and design. The house is a duplex, and I was able to Airbnb the upper flat, and I loved the experience! I hosted so many wonderful people from all over the world that were absolutely lovely. I had a large urban organic garden that I used to grow tons of produce for my restaurant and for cooking and preserving at home. Besides cooking and home restoration, I truly love to spend time outside! Some of my favorite pastimes are running, biking, kayaking, canoeing, and practicing yoga. I am mainly looking to house-sit in the Las Vegas area right now, but I am willing to travel for the right job!
