My name is Cheryl Branche. Years ago when my father was alive, he was a away for a month, I was in charge of the houses with instructions to not try to fix any electrical problems. Things were uneventful for me until one hot water heater broke and needed replacement. Had to contact Dad. This was pre-cellphone. He could not be reached. He was not happy when he found a hot water heater charge on one of the credit cards. All that to say that I understand what house sitting is and what you need from me. I can water plants and feed the pets. Do they need walking? Keep the pipes warm. Collect the mail. One thing, though: If the water heater breaks where can I contact you?!
