Hello my name is Katrina, I was born and raised in Washington DC. I have worked many years with the elderly as a companion and also took care of my mother and father. I am an accomplished housekeeper and responsible caretaker. I have great communication skills and am very organized. I have taken care of pets in my home from hamsters and fish to turtles, dogs, and birds. When house sitting I leave a full report for each day that I visit the residence detailing what work was done from walking and feeding the pets to watering the plants. I also note any observations I may have noticed. I have an especially keen attention to detail and notice things that are amiss or different almost instantly. I live in the Brightwood area of Washington DC and have access to my own transportation. I am partially disabled and am looking for work so that I can remain an independent individual. Not long ago I suffered a heart attack whereupon I was ordered by my doctors to rest and not do any strenuous work. I was initially upset as I like to stay busy, but my daughter reminded me to focus on the skills I have that don't strain me. She mentioned this site.
