Sylvia Celeste Deaderick moved to the Point Breeze section of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania from Compton California in 1992 and fell immediately in love with the seasonal change, eclectic housing inventory, and topography of Southwestern Pennsylvania. The daughter of the 1st female African American Construction Specialist for the City of Los Angeles. Housing and neighborhood redevelopment runs through my veins.
