Hello, Prospective Homeowners! About me: I'm Thia, in my 20s, and live in downtown Manhattan which is conveniently close to my full-time job. I graduated with a BA in Psychology from a SUNY in Western New York. I also work on the weekend which leaves me some free time to catch up with friends, go to the gym or find things to do. Why do I like house sitting? My recent developing interest in house sitting started when I first started visiting Boston. Whenever I am there I choose airbnb, usually staying in a private bedroom, whole house or an apartment. Although it is not house sitting but the feeling of arriving at the door of a home is incomparable to arriving at a hotel. I enjoyed staying in a home setting because it gives me a sense of uniqueness, comfortness and tranquility. Every home I stayed is unique to its' homeowner, from the living room, bathroom to the kitchen. I appreciate seeing all the aspects of the living space created by the home owner. Comfortness is also an important element to bond with the home, and it is found through communicating with the owner, establishing mutual expectations and ensuring security during my stay at the home. House sitting location preference & travel accommodation: I only travel within walking distance and I can take the subway. It would be an ideal house sitting in a home located in the neighborhoods: Chinatown, Tribeca, LES, East Village, SOHO. I can walk from my home to your home, guarantee I won't arrive late! I own an Iphone and I can be reached through phone calls, text messaging and apps (Skype, Wechat, and email). Availability: Evening, late evening, overnight, some weekends.
