House Sitter in Hewitt, Texas

Hello! Debbie here. My adult son Matthew and I are both non-smokers who work as a team providing - long term - house sitting in the Waco/Hewitt/Lorena TX area, but are open to oportunities farther out. We are quiet creative homebody types and house sitting allows us to pursue our passions for healthy living and time for increasing our educations. We understand the many reasons people want their home to be occupied and we provide this service in a professional manner always respecting you and your home as caretakers.What we are not are tourists or holiday travelers hoping for free accommodations who intend to spend the majority of the time out shopping and sightseeing. I have a background in real estate management in addition to managing my own rental property in the past so rest assured that I know how to care for your property. Matthew is into programming and design and takes pet care very seriously always fussing over his charge. We have our own rescue/watch-dog who will be with us. She is house trained and a sweet playful smallish Aussie Shepherd/Schnauzer mix who loves treats, squeaky toys, and making new friends. We aim to please by keeping your home clean, dusted, any unused toilets or faucets flushed out regularly or made to drip should freezing temperatures require this, picking up after your pets and ours exercising all, keeping the driveway and garage cleaned of snow, leaves, and pests, collecting the mail if you wish and forwarding, keeping up with the garbage collection, making regular use of any security systems you have and want in place, making sure items in the refrigerator and freezers stay fresh and frozen, ensuring that the home stays bug and pest free when the seasons change, keeping in touch with you as often as you desire with pics via email, cell phone, or chat service with IM video such as Skype, and making regular property checks for leaks or problems, making our combined presence known by being visible with lights on and off at the front of the home, news papers and periodicals picked up and held for your return, and all doors and windows locked up tight at all times home or not. We will have a meal prepared for you upon your return if you like or be sure to have items in the kitchen from the grocer that you request ahead of time if you will make monthly visits. We are also willing to pick you up at the airport and take you there night or day. We ask that your home be safe, well maintained, equipped with a fire extinguisher, wet/dry vac, be clean, and uncluttered. I am happy to consider special requests and answer questions.
