House sitter Job in Richmond, California

Hi there,

We're looking for a dog lover who wants to house sit for us while we're in China for 2 weeks. We're up in the el Cerrito/Richmond hills. We want someone who will be respectful of our neighbors and will spoil our dogs.

Dogs:
Ethel - A 3 year old yellow lab-pitbull mix, very sweet and gentle. Will lick you to death. She is a little wary of new people, and prefers to sleep on the couch all day rather than go for walks.

Bert - a very adorable 6 month year old puppy. We're still working on training, but he's incredibly friendly and rambunctious.

Both dogs love to crowd into bed with you, Bert will want to sleep curled up next to (... or on top of) you all night, while Ethel likes a few inches of space.

Cats:
We have 2 cats, who are fairly minimal maintenance. They have a big food bowl that needs to be refilled once every week or two. They also have a self-cleaning litterbox. You probably won't ever have to touch it. You probably won't ever seen one of the cats, Ysanne, the whole time you're here. She is very skittish. Our other cat, Ailell, is a bit more of a "warrior". He usually likes to sleep on your legs at night.

Ethel gets along great with the kitties. Bert likes to ocassionally chase them. We try and discourage it as much as possible.

Garden:

We have a fairly extensive outdoor vegetable garden. We'd ask you to water it once a day with the hose, preferably in the morning.

About the house:
2 bedrooms (main bedroom, guest/office)
Fully "Alexa'd" - there are Amazon Alexa's all around the house, which control the lights in the office, bedroom, and living room
Lovely outdoor patio with grill and beautiful evening lighting
Fully decked out kitchen
We're up in the hills, about a 3-5 minute drive from the el Cerrito del Norte BART station. Walking down isn't too bad, but walking back up is quite a trek.
Washer and dryer in the basement.
1 full bathroom upstairs.
