Founded in 1974, we are a small, nonprofit, volunteer organization made up of an international network of individual associates and group affiliates. We are dedicated to designing and disseminating educational programs that will help people of all ages live more harmoniously and joyously within the earth's ecological systems and communities of life. Our programs are underway in over fifteen countries. Our international headquarters, Cedar Cove, is located in Greenville, West Virginia on a 250 acre educational reserve between the Allegheny and Appalachian Mountains. It's a pastoral landscape of forest and fields laced with springs, streams, and caves. We have a fully self-contained Guest House, heated by a wood-burning stove, that is available from September to April in return for looking after the place.
