House Sitter in Lodi, California

I am looking for a job housesitting or caring for one's house and property while the owners are not in residence. I am a retired school teacher from Northern California and I have a tiny housetrained dog who comes with me. I have been housesitting for a year now and am looking for something short or long term while the owners are away. The property must be manageable. However, I have a lived on a ranch for many years and have tended to a host of pets including horses and pasture animals. I have had chickens to feed and allow into and out of the their house. I seek the comfort of a nice home in a location that will give me access to some small town, village or city. I have never lived in the snow but that is something I could learn to handle. Still in my sixties, I have a desire to see other areas of the United States and live outside my current location. I am trustworthy, non intrusive and I do what must be done to keep a house clean and ready for the owners return. If you have a job for me, please contact me and we can talk.
