House Sitter in Cowichan Bay, British Columbia

Dale Moroski and I first met as she was my husband's favourite nurse while he was in the hospital. When we needed help she was the caregiver that would make sure our needs were met quickly and efficiently. Based on her work efforts, I asked her if she'd be interested in house sitting for me, which she did for 4 years, 5 months each year. The only reason she's not doing it again is that I sold my home and am not able to do the 'snowbird' thing anymore. She's very conscientious and I swear my home looked better when I got back each year than when I left it! She did everything that a home owner would do, including snow clearing. One year when I left I ran out of time to finish preparing my yard for winter so Dale did it, including cleaning up the garden, yard etc, altho' all of that was above and beyond. If I had a pet Dale would have looked after it as well. There was also a year that my furnace started to malfunction and she handled as I would have done until she had to contact me as it was on its way to furnace heaven. I would say that anyone who used Dale as a house sitter would want her back year after year. She's honest, conscientious and she cleans as well - what's not to love! Seriously though, I highly recommend Dale.
