Well.....I'm not super keen on snakes or spiders but other than that..YES. In my earlier years before I went on to college to get my degree in psychology, I compleated my Vet Tech licensing in California and I believe that this may put me a small bump above the competition. I know animal CPR and can quickly and accurately assess any potential ER situation and have the numbers of surrounding after-hours and emergency animal hospitals on hand. I am the very proud owner of a Havanese (somewhat of a rare breed) named Gizmo. He is my pride and joy and my first "official" child lol, although I've owned and lovingly cared for numerous animals throughout my life including lil baby birds that found their way out of the nest and even an orphaned 2 weeks old squirrel named Peanut in addition to dogs and cats that I grew up with. As a pet-parent I KNOW the anxiety of trying to find THE BEST person to care for your pet as well as worrying about your fur baby's peace of mind while you're away and understand the difficulties this can present. Under my loving care I hope I can assuage your worries and give you the peace of mind that is SO important during your time away. Play time is the best time and I love to actively engage with the critters I get to care for and of course make time for snuggles. Whether you have express care detailed for me in a 4 page instructional or must simply drop the keys and go REST ASSURED that your pet will be loved and cared for every step of the way. For HOUSE SITTING please read on: Being a happy homemaker allows me the flexibility to be able to care for homes other than my own. Being a college graduate with a degree in developmental psychology as well as a home owner I truly understand the anxiety that accompanies (literally) leaving your home in another persons hands. Is this person responsible, can I REALLY trust them not to go through my private things or take anything, will they care for my home in the way I do (not banging things around and leaving dents, making sure the door is LOCKED when they leave....), and can I trust that this person won't be bringing strangers into my home or god forbid throw a house party in MY HOME?!!! In my hands....YES. YOU CAN TRUST THAT YOUR HOME WILL BE AS CARED FOR AND RESPECTED AS MY OWN. I love leaving special touches such as making sure any spoiled goods in the fridge are properly dealt with so you don't come home to that OMG....what is that smell situation, and making sure that the toilet paper is fully stocked or replaced as well as paper towels not being on the LAST towel. Additionally, you can expect the entry way floors to be swept and/or entry way carpets vacuumed (as long as you have the tools of course). Also, for a small additional pre-agreed fee I can happily take care of small or large housekeeping and cleaning depending on your needs. An example of a small house clean would be interior windows sparkling clean, as well as mirrors, carpet refresh treatment (a softly scented pretreatment that helps to break up dirt and lingering smells left in the carpet), counters wiped down, bathroom(s) wipe down and disinfect, toilet bowl and shower cleaned, and all floors swept and floors vacuumed. A larger housecleaning would include the above PLUS entire house dusted from top to bottom (no yucky cobwebs for you to see just before going to bed), all floors mopped sparking clean, grime, finger smudges etc., removed from doors with a thorough scrubbing, wipe down of walls, kitchen cabinets thoroughly wiped and cleaned of spills smudges etc, and carpets washed and dried to remove years old dirt dust grime and anything else that may have settled in. Or any combination of services as directed by you. Even laundry services! No job is too big or small! In addition your mail will be picked up daily, the heat or AC will NEVER run without the house occupied and energy efficiency will always be managed (who wants to come home to a big energy bill?!) as well as any and all requests made by you to ensure your home is taken care of. Whether you are looking for a HOUSE SITTER OR PET SITTER I believe that peace of mind is KEY when being away from home. With that in mind, and although references are an extra help I believe that seeing and speaking to a person BEFOREHAND can go a long way to ensuring you've chosen the right person to properly care for your home or pet.
