I had the pleasure of working with Cassandra Rigden at Elk Grove Park District for several years. She was very hard working, honest and dependable. Cassandra was responsible for all of the annual plantings at our parks and facilities and this is how I got to know her. She was especially good at creating beautiful, low maintenance arrangements inside and out. Cassandra was very patient and knowledgeable when teaching others and created several positive teaching tools while she managed her staff. We became friends throughout the years that we worked together and she shared much of her knowledge with me about what types of plants thrived in low sun areas, and how to take care of them. I have always enjoyed her sense of humor and warm personality. i would not hesitate to have her house, animal or plant sit for me at any time.
