House Sitter in Flower Mound, Texas

Hello there! My name is Lori. I was born and raised on a large farm in East Texas (Lindale). I spent 16 years there before moving to Dallas. After graduation, I enlisted in the Army as a linguist. After the Army, I raised my daughter, Alexandria, while attending The University of Texas In Dallas. I have both a BA and an MA in education. After college, I was fortunate to get a job as a kindergarten teacher in a great suburb of Dallas. After spending 8 years in Dallas, I decided to take my skills overseas. I now teach internationally. It's super exciting teaching kids from all over the world. I am currently a 2nd grade teacher at the American International School of Jeddah, KSA. We have a great school, full of kids from just about every consulate family living in Jeddah. I've been in KSA for almost four years. I am here with my husband John Patrick. He has the best job in the world. He teaches PE to kids ages 3 to 7. So basically he gets to play all day. A bit about John…he was born in the United States but raised in Canada. He also went in the military as a Medic for the Navy. It’s a bit of a military family. My daughter is also Naval intelligence. I can’t think of anything else that’s terribly relevant with the exception of the pet qualifications. As I said, I was raised on a farm. We had horses, chickens, cows, dogs, cats, and an occasional rescued bird. I love animals as does John. In Jeddah, we have two of the cutest cats, Milo and Buddy. Those have to stay in Jeddah while we are in the states sadly. I think that’s about it… the rest is probably only interesting to me :) Since I live in the Dallas area, while I'm no teaching, this is where I list my home, although if you live in a place of interest, we are willing to travel. We are only available during the summer months, from mid June until mid August. Thanks for reading!
