House Sitter in Los Angeles, California

I'm an
Individual
Hello, my name is Jeff. My passion is to assist you in taking care of your home while your away. I am an avid landscaper who loves to manicure lawns, gardens, ponds, pools, etc. I’m also an avid recycler, who can assist you with any recycling you may have, as well as ensuring your trash is picked up on a weeekly basis. I know the importance of ensuring your house has a lived in feel to it while your away to help protect your assets from people passing by and assume your house has been vacated, or abandoned. The number one item a person will look for to see if a house is vacant is the yard. If the grass is not mowed, or dead from not being watered. If the trees and bushes are over grown and your garden beds are full of weeds, chances are someone could be watching your house for lived in activity. And with no lived in activity, they just may be brave enough to break in and take what they can. I also know the importance of running water through your faucets several times a week as well as flushing toilets to keep them from getting mouldy and a calcium ring where the water would just sit and build up. I am an avid animal and plant lover who feels both have the right to live as happy a life as possible. No matter the condition of your plants, I will never give up on taking care of them and nourturing them so they are as healthy and beautiful as God intended them to be. I grew up with many animals as well. Cats, dogs, birds, snakes, lizards, turtils, etc. The care for any animal, no matter what type is vital to us as humans. We constantly invade and take over their natural habitants, and to view any animal as a nuasence, or as discardable is in humane and something that I am completely against. I understand the importance of walking a dog. It’s what their about. The excitement in their eyes gives me goose bumps when I see their excitement and I’m able to walk them around the block, or take them on a long hike. But the most important thing for a dog as I have learned, is patience. I will stop and let a dog sniff an area for as long as the want to, and won’t tug on their chain because I’m impatient, board, or in a hurry. When it comes time to walk the dog, that is there time and I give them all the time they need until their ready to say enough is enough. If you have a cat, personal time with them is so important. People that don’t have a cat as a pet fail to understand their needs. They feel that the cat only wants to be fed and have their litter box changed. Cats want to be loved just as much as dogs. And once you give a cat love and attention, they will give it back to just as much. I am a responsible individual who can be trusted with your home and your belongings. I have lived in California my entire life, with graduating HS in Orange County, graduation college in Long Beach, and working in Hollywood. I love Los Angeles and Orange County, and would be proud and honored to assist you with your home as you see fit. Owning a home is such a treasure, and I will treat your home as the gem that you see it as. Warm regards, Jeff
