House Sitter in American Canyon, California

I am a 48 year old empty nester and it's driving me nuts. My wife and l moved to the Bay area a bit over two years ago when she was transfered to work at Napa State Hospital. I am retired from a career where I worked as an EMT driving for an ambulance company. Then l transfered the Sheriff's Department in the Coroner's Office. I suffered a work related injury in 2001 that required me to have two spinal surgeries. I have a lifting restriction but other than that I am perfectly mobile. In the years after my retirement I obtained a degree in Art & Psychology from CSUB in Bakersfield, CA and spent a great deal of my time volunteering to serve the youth of my community as a youth mentor. While going to school for vocational rehabiltation, I served as a Nanny to a father of 5 children, ranging in age from 2-13 yrs old during a time when his wife was going thru a severe health crisis. Since moving to the Bay, l have been a personal assistant to a traveling chef, been the Interim Student Life Director at a non-denominational, gay affirming church in our area, offered companion care to a Veteran who deals with severe PTSD symptoms & does not function well without assistance managing her daily routines. Most recently, I have been chauffering a teen to soccer practices in Sacremento for a single mom in Fairfield, taking care of family pets & my daughter after a serious car accident where her car rolled 5 times.. (She is now moved to SoCal to start Grad school in the fall) That existing commitment to drive my teen from Fairfield to Sacramento Monday-Thursday is scheduled to end on May 31. So until then I am only available Monday-friday 9:00-12:.... l drive a Prius with a great GPS SYSTEM so I won't get lost & get great gas mileage for errands and/or chauffering & such.
