House Sitter Job in Charlottesville, Virginia

We are looking for someone to watch our house while we are away for 1-2 week periods over the year. We are two academics with elderly parents and frequent travel schedules, so it would be a huge help if we could find someone that we can schedule sittings in advance with but also might have availability on more of a short-term notice. Our ideal is a house visit roughly every 3 days during the travel period. The main duties would be to water/check on the plants, bring in the mail, and take out garbage and recycling on the necessary days while we are gone.
