House Sitter Job in Sanford, North Carolina

Hi there, We are looking for a house sitter (pet sitter) who can stay in our home when we go on a travel (which is usually once a month for 2-3 days and occasionally for longer like for 2-3 weeks once or twice a year). For example, this coming month, we need that person to stay in our home for three days some time in the middle of June (the exact dates/times will become known in 2 weeks or so from now). We plan to hire a mature lady, whom we can fully trust and rely on. We want that person to be reliable, non-smoking, and dog-loving. We live in a small farm here in Sanford, NC in Henley Rd, and have 5 mid-size dogs and four chickens and a greenhouse that we want to be taken good care of while we are gone. The chicken coop and greenhouse are both automatic and do not need much work from the home sitter, and it is just a matter of monitoring them. The house/pet sitter will stay in our home fully during this period of time except for possibly occasional one-hour leaves during the daytime for the purpose of shopping or so, but we want her to stay there during the daytime and sleep there over night while we are gone. This job is mostly about a pet sitter’s permanent presence in our property during the above-mentioned period of times, placing our dogs in their outdoor fenced area in the morning and bringing them back inside our home in the afternoon and keep them there overnight and having a permanent close watch on them during the day and night. The pet sitter will be staying in our house overnight and there will be all facilities available for her, including a guest bedroom with a brand-new bed, mattress, separate restroom inside the guest bedroom, and so forth. Although there are security cameras all around the property, we will ask the pet sitter to update us everyday via text messages on how things are going. We ask that absolutely no one else other than the pet sitter is present on our property while we are gone. We are willing to pay $100 per day for this job. For example, for being permanently present in our house for the 3 days mentioned above, we will pay $300.
