HOUSE SWAP > AUSTIN for SANTA MONICA Nice to meet you! My name is Veronica. I'm looking to swap homes with a fellow traveler over the summer. My home in Austin, Texas for yours in Santa Monica, California. I have three indoor-outdoor cats who would love care and company, and I'd love to care for yours too. MY HOME: I live in a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in South Austin. It's got a huge patio and fenced in backyard, updated kitchen, super fast Google Fiber WiFi, plus high ceilings and a beautiful fireplace in the living room. My furniture is a mix of bohemian and a mid-century. Also, I just want to point out that my bed is ridiculously comfortable... says me, and all of the guests I've had this year. It's like hotel-quality, text your friends about it kind of comfortable. THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Sunset Valley is a family friendly, quiet community full of trees and friendly neighbors. Walking distance (or a very short drive) to a shopping center with a Whole Foods, Austin's famous Torchy's Tacos and Kerbey Lane Cafe, and a handful of other restaurants and stores. It's also walking distance to Lifetime Fitness and 24-hour Fitness. If you're driving, I'm literally right off of a major highway so it's quick and easy to get to anywhere in Austin. Just 15 minutes from Downtown. THE CATS: yay I have three sweet cats. They're pretty low maintenance, but will probably try to cuddle you. None of them have special healthcare needs. They have a cat door so they go inside and out as they please. The litter box is actually outside the home in the garage, and they rarely use it unless it's raining. ABOUT ME: I'm a digital nomad working as a remote Copywriter & Content Strategist for clients large and small. When staying in your home, I'll make sure you and your pets are loved and cared for like I would in my own home. I'm clean, an incurable optimist, and value clear communication.
