My kitties are pretty independent and don’t need much, but I feel better when I know there’s someone to check in on them when I’m away from home for more than a couple days. All that’s necessary is making sure they have fresh water and food. I do normally clean their kitty area at least every other day, but won’t expect someone else to do this unless I’m away for more than 5 days or so.
