House Sitter Job in Salt Lake City, Utah

Job Overview: We're a busy couple who frequently travel for work and sometimes fun, so we need a reliable and trustworthy housesitter/pet nanny for frequent live-in stays of 1-2 weeks when my husband and I have overlapping travel, especially around Christmas when we visit family out of state. It would also be a big help to stay with them just during the day when I'm on a longer trip, so my husband doesn't have to manage everything on his own. Duties: We live in a 120yo historic home in Central City with 2 dogs and 2 cats, plus a regular rotation of foster dogs we rehabilitate for adoption. Jack, our 17yo senior dog, requires pain medication 2-3x daily for arthritis and frequent help standing up from sitting/laying position. We also have an adjacent 2nd home that we rent out, so we need help watering in summer and clearing snow in winter in both yards. The cats keep to themselves and only need daily food and litterbox scooping every few days. But I work from home, so our dogs are accustomed to constant human company and we'd love to find someone with the flexibility to spend time with them during the day and sleep here with them at night. Our ideal carer would have prior experience with senior or medicated dogs, either professionally or with family pets, but compassion for companion animals is our highest priority.
