House Sitter Job in Erie, Pennsylvania

Posting: I am looking for a professional house sitter to do three tasks while I am away: 1-Clear snow from walk & driveway-and salt as needed 2-Take in mail-once per week 3-Check on thermostat and water pipes in basement- once per week. Other Duties, Requirements & Compensation: The ideal candidate will give me a bi-monthly update on status of my home via phone. The candidate should have experience running a snowblower, and know how to adjust a thermostat when weather gets colder, and be able to visually inspect things in basement such as water pipes etc. The ideal candidate must pass a background check and submit two written letters of reference. The compensation for taking in the mail, adjusting the thermostat, and checking on basement pipes is a flat payment of $50.00 per month. The compensation for clearing snow from walkways is a flat fee of 100.00 per month regardless of the amount of snow accumulation, and will begin from December 1st, 2018, and ends March 31st, 2019. You may need to do some light shoveling on the walkway but will not need to snow blow driveway and sidewalks unless there is three inches or more. There will be no over billing for snow removal during December through March. If it snows in November or April and is more than three inches and snow removal is needed, then you may bill me for $10.00 per removal. Gasoline Fill up: You must submit a gas receipt for each time you get gasoline. Hint: Take a snap shot of the receipt on cell phone and text to me, and I will reimburse you. It must display time date amount.
