House Sitter Job in Port Orchard, Washington

I am the human owned by a spoiled dog and entitled cat! I am retired so they are used to my being home a lot. I need more of a pet sitter than I need a house sitter. That said, I need a sitter who understands that the dog needs to go out frequently (no longer than 2-3 hours in between outs). More importantly, the sitter must be able to follow a specific diet instructions; my dog has pancreatitis. He cannot eat anything other than the specific diet. While the dog does not require daily medicine, the perfect sitter would be comfortable "pilling" a dog. Stress can bring on a pancreatic flare; my being gone could be stressful for my "velcro" dog. The cat will be easy--so long as the sitter ALWAYS watches to ensure the darned cat doesn't sneak out the back door when the dog is going out. The cat came to me while I was stationed in Kuwait. She has never, in ten years, forgotten she used to live outside in the desert. The house care will be easy. The neighborhood is nice and safe; there will be neighbors to help if/when necessary. The area is very walkable; the dog loves to go for walks. I will be traveling a couple of times this year...no more than a week at a time. I hope to find a match for me, my pets, and my house.
