House Sitter in Chicago, Illinois

Hi there! I'm a graduate student looking for house/plant/pet-sitting jobs in Chicago this summer. I love plants and animals of all kinds, and have many, many houseplants of my own, along with a cat named Pancake. I've been housesitting, nannying, and tutoring for over a decade, and am a very tidy and responsible person who takes pride in a job well-done. My schedule is very flexible this summer, and I can spend as much or as little time as needed at your home or with your animals (I have lots of course reading to do this summer, which I can do from anywhere!). I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your home or pets in someone else's hands, so I'm happy to send plenty of pictures and updates! About me: I'm originally from North Carolina, but have been living in Chicago since 2015. I'm just started a PhD program in English at UW-Madison (which has all been online so far because of the pandemic). I love libraries and museums, photography, embroidery, traveling, and french fries :) I'm fully vaccinated (if that matters?!), and consider myself to be very trustworthy and detail-oriented. I'm proud to still be in touch with all of the families that I've nannied for, and am happy to share references upon request.
