I am a newly unattached (and loving it after 28 years), 47 year old female general contractor. Since I have recently shed my longtime personal commitments, this is a perfect time for me to take a few years off before I make a commitment to buy another house. Housesitting would give me chance to explore living in different areas of the Tampa Bay Area. I have loved house and animal sitting for friends and family over the years and have many years of experience. I am a very responsible person - I opened a daycare center at the age of 19 and owned and operated it for 7 years before I sold it....... I owned and worked for my own lawn care business, I have remodeled numerous houses (many historic homes in the Seminole Heights area) and I can fix anything that would happen at your house while you are gone. I love animals and animals genuinely love me. I recently became authorized as a repair contractor for one of Florida's largest insurance companies which required additional licensing, bonding, insurance requirements. This qualification process also required that I pass a 15 year nationwide background check. I would happy to provide these documents upon your request. I love to stay busy while visiting friends and often help with projects such as painting and gardening. I love to garden and dog walk. As a contractor I understand and appreciate homeowners property and have always practiced due diligence to maintain the cleanliness on jobsites in order to make things as positive as possible. If I sit for your home it will likely look better than when you left. If you have a small project or a clean up you have been putting off, we can discuss my handling that while you are away.
