About Me: I am a very trustworthy person who loves cats & dogs. I have been employed by police departments most of my adult life (and am currently), so there is no need to worry about me abusing my access to your home! My work background checks me. I don't have a copy of the check, but can provide some sort of employment verification upon request. I am a problem solver; I am able to find creative solutions to almost any problem that may arise. Common sense is my super power. I may not be a handyman, but I am frequently tasked at work with deciding if a problem is likely to cause a safety or property damage situation and if it is prudent to bother anyone after hours or if the problem can wait until regular business hours. Services And Training: I have two cats, so I am comfortable caring for felines. I have not had to give anything beyond oral medication to them, but if you need me to, I am willing to learn how to give other medications to your pets. I am most comfortable with dogs that are either mellow or medium sized or below. I don't have a lot of dog experience, but I love them. I will not care for snakes, but am not opposed to throwing some crickets into a cage for most other types of reptiles, as I have had geckos in the past. I will also feed fish or water plants as long as proper instructions are left. As I mentioned, I have been working in public safety the majority of my adult life (more than 15 years). I am very aware of the importance of having a house sitter when on vacation & am willing to check on a home during times outside of regular business hours. I think about things like leaving different lights on each night & keeping the porch free of packages. I am also comfortable checking on a home with CCTV/security cameras, as I have nothing to hide.
