House Sitter in Seattle, Washington

Hello, My husband and I are both data professionals in our late 30's, early 40's and work a typical 9-5 schedule. We don't go out much and are usually home in the evenings. We currently live on our 42' sailboat in beautiful Ballard. Every so often we like to stretch our legs and house-sitting seems to be a win-win for us and homeowners. Since we don't have pets at this time, we love to sit for homes that have cats to get some extra animal companionship in - although since I've had pets most of my life, I can recognize and respect when a kitty would rather be admired from afar and given their space. Since we work in North Seattle, we would prefer sitting opportunities that are north of downtown although we are open to others depending on the commute. I can care for indoor houseplants - but to be fair, my green thumb is more of a light green and I don't have any experience with outside gardens.
