Hello there! My name is Amber and I have been house sitting for the past 3 years, dog sitting for the past 5 and taking care of various plants of my own for several years now. I am currently in school and taking courses online now, so since I have so much free time again I would like to offer my services! I am available to house sit for any given amount of time. I currently live in North Portland and have reliable transportation to go beyond Portland as well. I have experience with several different breeds of dogs, from tiny lil pups to great danes and pitbulls. I am able to walk dogs around the neighborhood or if you prefer (and if they will fit in my ford focus), we can go for a walk around the forest! I have several references for house sitting, dog/cat sitting, dog walking, etc that I can supply to you. I charge either by the day or the visit, for longer term things I will give a discount. Put simply, Amber is amazing. I was lucky enough to get connected to her through a mutual friend, and now Amber is always my first choice for a house/pet sitter. She's dependable, responsive, thoughtful, and wonderful with animals. She's also super kind about being flexible with my often crazy traveling schedule. I have a dog who's quirky and high-maintenance, and Amber caters to all of his weird needs. She even gives my elderly/needy cat medication (which is, admittedly, not an easy thing to do) and lots of attention. She checks in daily to update me and often sends photos. Whenever I get back from a trip, the animals are totally content and the house is extremely clean. I feel like I can completely trust her to take care of my babies (and house) the way I do, which is a huge relief. It's not at all surprising to me that Amber volunteers her time at an animal sanctuary for farm animals; she's just that kind of person! I truly can't say enough good things about Amber. I recommend her over anyone else. She's the best of the best.

Amber is a very responsible, hard working individual. She has helped me so much with housesitting and even childcare. She always does extra cleaning even when i don't ask her to. Amber is also a great communicator and fun to talk to. I love coming home and feeling like everything is better than when i left. I highly recommend Amber to anyone that is looking for a housesitter!!
