House Sitter in San Antonio, Texas

This, perhaps, is an unusual search, but here goes... Twenty years ago, I came to Mobile, Alabama to care for my elderly parents with the ultimate desire to return to my home (San Antonio). Of course, at the time, I did not realize how long I would be here. All my family is (or was) from San Antonio, TX, but Mom and Dad relocated to Mobile. Well, now my parents are no longer here with me, and I have a very significant yearning to come back home! I cannot let it go! So, one day I came across this web site. I love pets very much, sometimes more than some humans. I now have a Pom that I rescued 5 years ago and brought her back to life practically. People at first thought she was so ugly they could not understand why I rescued her, but now everyone thinks she is the sweetest, loveliest pet they have ever seen! I adore pets and they love me. Pets seem to know good people instinctively. I am hoping beyond hope there is someone ( a couple perhaps) in San Antonio who might need my assistance to do light housekeeping and care for their pets in return for long term room and board. All these years I have been planning to get back, but things did not always work the way I planned ("Best laid plans of men and mice...). I am sure you are wondering, at this point, how feeble I might be. Do not fear (lol), I am still fully functional, but time is "marching on." Hope I might fit the bill for you and/or your family.
