House Sitter in Danville, California

I have lived in the bay area all my life. I'm an avid Dog and cat lover. Very loyal clean and dependable person. Put a lot of focus on making sure any job I do is done right. I love the outdoors, love to hike and explore all that nature has to offer. A little personal story on house sitting Job I did back in 2018 when things did not go as planned. Last year I was house-sitting for someone that was on vacation and very far from home. We had smoke building up that year from the fire from the north. Air quilty was very bad. Then we got hammered with a big rain storm for days. We were taking care of our client's dog Ruby as well as the home. Ruby had to stay inside as well as me all the time due to poor Air. Walking the dog was not possible. Day into the Job I noticed she was acting out of her normal behavior. We took her to the vet and kept communication with the client with every update on the dog's health regularly. We had to rush the dog to a vet 50 miles away in a heavy rainstorm. My car had broken down during the job. The dog was in critical condition. The client gave us the go-ahead to drive their other car. I drove the dog in for surgery and pick her up a few days later in heavy rain. When the dog came back home. I stayed at the house with her every hour of the day. Held on to her for 15 minutes when she was crying. At night she slept at the foot of the bed. We had to give her several medications and check up on her every hour. When my clients arrived home Ruby was ready to give them a warm welcome. Even though this was not what I signed up to do. I put everything into the care for the dog so my clients can feel safe when there fare from home. Hope you consider me for the care of your pets, plants or home. I hope this story never becomes a reality again, but if it did I would be ready. The care of my client's homes and pets is my number one goal.
