House Sitter in Portland, Oregon

I've been a homeowner and now choose a different path. I'm looking for house sitting gigs for the summer in Portland and environs. I am in the process of finding a place, but need a few more weeks before I make my selection. I'm familiar and adept with simple house maintenance routines and skills. Since I owned my own home, I know about fixing everything from leaky faucets to stripped hinge screw holes to lubricating garage doors. In other words, you're not just employing someone to sit around, you're employing someone who can fix things. I'm also fastidious. I tend to be the person who apologizes to unexpected visitors even though my place is spotless.
