House Sitter in Charlotte, North Carolina

Hello...we are a couple...her (70) and him (73)...in good physical shape and very clean. We are from Charlotte, but have been living in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for 2.5 years caring for wife's mother who had Alzheimer's. We sold our home in South Charlotte in October 2016 with plans to relocate to the Mooresville/Davidson area when we return to be closer to our children and grandchildren. We had not planned to make the move back until around the end of 2017; however, our youngest, and only, daughter and her husband are expecting their 1st baby around 20 July 2017. We want to be there to help them as they need. SO...we are looking for a home that we can live in (or in the guest house if available) and house sit for a homeowner for a month or more starting around 1 August 2017. Our home in South Charlotte was located in Ballantyne and 3 stories. We are use to caring for a larger home. It would be our pleasure to care for your home as if it was our own! We know how important it is to you and your family to have the peace of mind that your home is safe and secure...and being maintained while you are away. If you have lawn services, maintenance work, etc we will make sure those services are done well while you are absent from your home. We are not looking for compensation other than living accommodations. Hopefully, we can find a home in the downtown area of Charlotte, or in the Lake Norman area; however we are open to any nice area.
