House Sitter in Austin, Texas

I am a 72 year old married male living in Lewisville, Tx (Dallas area). I have a possible temporary position based in Austin. The contract is anywhere from 3 months to a year. I cannot afford an apartment and maintain 2 residences, but I am able to help someone out with watching their home. As a result, I do not need much in the way of payment. I am fit and physically able to do routine chores. I work in the mental health industry as a therapist and also drive a school bus because I like it. I have a criminal background check done yearly. I am basically looking for a place to stay for the contract period. It would not have to be a sitter situation. I could actually rent a room if that would work.
