House Sitter in Barrie, Ontario

I've just moved to Barrie Ontario after 24 years in the Ottawa Valley, owning my own home, running my own business, and raising two children as a single parent. What I am saying, is that I know responsibility, and am familiar with many household issues, know how to take action if something needs care or attention. I need to be within one hour of Barrie, Ont., where my parents are both in a nursing home. I've moved to this area so I can be there on a regular basis. Other than that, I am fairly open as to where I am willing to live. What I can do for you: collect and organize mail; make sure driveways and pathways are cleared of snow and that your house looks lived in; monitor any security program you have installed; water plants; keep things cleaned; care of pets; basically anything you need to maintain your home. If you require something else on top of home maintenance, just ask me. What I require is an agreement that I come with two elderly cats, which can be kept separated from any pets you have, or even just kept within a smaller portion of your house. I am an artist, a painter. I take clients on painting trips in Europe, central and south America, which would come up from time to time, and can make alternate arrangements with someone to take over my job who is just as responsible as myself.
