House Sitter in Johnston, Iowa

I'm a teacher and Grief Recovery Counselor during most of the year, but have summers free. In addition to my volunteer work, I would like to house sit to provide a great service to neighbors in need of a safe, responsible person to look after their home and/or pets while they are on vacation. I hope to make a little money to put in my daughter's college fund. I sold my own house after my divorce and cannot have my pets in my apartment, so it would be wonderful to enjoy a home and pets again! I am an animal lover and often watch friends' pets. I'm originally from Des Moines and have lived in Johnston for many years. My son graduated from Johnston High and my daughter will graduate next year. I believe that a house sitter should leave a home cleaner than they found it, and respect all wishes of the owner regarding the health and safety of animals. I love to walk and snuggle with pets and never tire of playing catch.
