Full disclosure, Shelby is my sister. As such, I tend to judge her harsher than I would a total stranger--I believe doing so makes her stronger. That said, I can honestly say that Shelby is incredibly trustworthy, responsible, conscientious, and kind. I would not only trust my home in her care for an extended period of time, I would trust my child in her care for an extended period of time (much like many other families int he LA area do). I have recently done both--as she stayed my family for approximately five days this past summer--and I can say that I was the most at-ease while she was here with us. I knew that she would treat our rules and boundaries with respect, and our home as if it were her own. You won't find anyone better!
