House Sitter in Airdrie, Alberta

Hello! My name is Karen Birnie. I have worked in the school system for eleven years. As a result of contracts running out, I have returned to school in Calgary. I own a home in Innisfail right now, but I have it on the market to sell. I have been staying with my sister Cindy in Calgary since July 10th, as I am going to ABES in pursuit of gaining a Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate. I am stationed in Airdrie, starting October 30 for my practicum at the Public Service Center there. This lab is located by the Apple Wellness Center. I will be there full time for five weeks. I am looking on this site, not only to be able to have a warm, comfortable home to stay in while in practicum, but to reach out and help where I can. I am a caring, reliable and responsible person who would like to help you. You as a home owner, can be comfortable leaving your home with someone, like myself, who is trustworthy and respectful of your well earned home and belongings. I would leave your home neat and tidy. I would keep dishes cleaned up after use, clean bathrooms regularly and make my bed every morning. I am also one who doesn't leave clothes lining around either. I respect my clothes to have them last. I would remove snow to keep sidewalks and driveways clear and safe. I would shut off lights when not needed. I hand wash dishes, to cut down on power expenses, as it would just be me staying in your home. I am a morning person, to bed early, like between 8-10 most nights, even on the weekends. I love to walk and get fresh air in my lungs. I would get to know the neighborhood quickly, as I would be out and around everyday. I am a member of the Crossroads Church in Red Deer.
