House Sitter in Calgary, Alberta

Hello! A little about myself. I am a mature, energetic, self motivated and YOUNG grandmother who left the corporate world a few years ago. That employer I worked in sales and marketing for a GREAT Canadian Airline for near a decade. I left to care for my grand daughter while my daughter went back to work full time, but she's a big girl in grade school now. Enjoying life away from the corporate world, I've been working training people to train their dogs. I am certified to help people train their dogs and have done so for over 30 years already. skill I felt I was born with. My passion really. I did continue house sitting for 2 couples I met while working behind the desk. One replaced me with their *of age* daughter 2 years back, the other just recently informed me they are moving south opposed to visiting yearly. I did work a contract as a nanny, but would rather not start another. I moved to the beltline about 4 years ago and gave up my vehicle last year. Living downtown I found a vehicle more hassle than it was worth. I find Car2Go very handy for when I do need a vehicle.I'd prefer to fill the winter house sitting for another snow bird couple. I'm bondable passing a few police checks in my lifetime. A couple for employers and more recently as a stipulation for the housesitting/ nanny contract about two years ago, and am fine to run another. I am reliable, outgoing and like to keep a positive attitude. People say I'm very observant and detail oriented. No matter what I'm doing I do the best job I can. I like to keep busy and am an excellent multi tasker if I do say so myself! Born and raised in Canada, I am open minded and love our country's diversity. It's unfortunate I still only speak, understand and write English. Spiritual but not religious, I do put a lot of clout in karma. I have no problem following detailed orders, but don't require them to get a job done. A natural self starter, I don't need directions to do a thorough job but am fine with a detailed list just as well! I'm an animal lover and I adore children. I haven't found one of either yet that I couldn't create some kind of bond with. Creative, extroverted and energetic are some of my characteristics that compliment this position. I would love to find a home with plants and pets to care for as well as the home. I'm great with all domesticated animals and can care for aquariums as well! I did enjoy a home with a pool as a teenager, and am sure a refresher course would be all I would need to care for one again.
