House Sitter in Washington, District of Columbia

My name is Dr. Helen D. Wix. I love the DC Metro area. I am looking for something long-term. The services I provide are collecting mail; emptying trash/recycling; and watering plants. I do not take care of pets. I am a certified life and spiritual coach, Reiki Master Practitioner, author, spiritual teacher, and energy therapist. I received my certified life and spiritual coaching from the Fowler International Academy. For 30 years I worked in corporate America as a secretary for different industries such as financial planning, hospitality, engineering, and property management. However, for the last eight years I worked as a legal secretary. I didn't it like very much because, although I was paid well, the work did not feed my soul. I am a creative person and always wanted to be a creative writer. I have had poetry published and have also written articles, newsletters, a play and screenplay. I won Honorable Mention in the 1997 Stage Play category of the "Writer’s Digest Magazine" Writing Competition. In November 1998, I had a play reading of that same play, "Daughters of the Dig," at the Playwrights’ Center in San Francisco featuring four professional actors.
