I've know Jeanne Kaplan for 37 years. We met when we were both working for Kimberly Clark and had the same manager. Our personal relationship grew from there and we have been friend ever since. A part of that friendship was based on our both being from Ohio. And while we were from different parts of the state it seemed like our Mothers must have known each other! Our basic value systems and our approach to community and family, our belief is what is right and wrong, our sense of responsibility and commitment was all based on the way our parents taught us to look at life. Jeanne is a responsible, reliable person. She is dependable and takes her commitments seriously. She is dedicated to helping others through charitable works in the healthcare and educational systems. Jeanne along with her trusty sidekick Kirby (schnoodle by breed), visit patients in the hospital where Kirby has been trained as a therapy dog. They also participate in the Sit-Stay-Read program to help get children interested in reading. People enjoy Jeanne's company and find her to be the organizational force that plans and coordinates social events. These events are not only for her personal friends but Jeanne has also been involved with fund raiser for Cerebral Palsy, Juvenile Diabetes and people with intellectual disabilities. And as I think about it, a lot of Jeanne's personal friends are people that she met and got to know through these works. You will find Jeanne personable, fun, well read and a person with good basic values in life. I've known David Kaplan for 30 years, from when he starting dating Jeanne through their subsequent marriage. As I've grown to know David over the years I found him to a great person who has the same principles about life even though he's from the East Coast! David and Jeanne have always created a warm and nurturing environment for their daughter, Olivia and David was always active in Olivia's like. He coached her sporting teams, took her to sporting events, and was her sidekick on vacation daredevil challenges like parasailing, snorkeling and jet skis. I have spend many a night as a guest at Jeanne and David's home. They have always had a beautiful, well maintained house with manicured gardens and an outdoor deck space. David is old pro at the grill and they enjoy entertaining friends and family. As a couple, Jeanne and David are warm, welcoming people who have a clear vision of how they live their lives. They are responsible, committed, caring and fun. I can recommend them highly.
