House Sitter in Auburn, California

I am a retired professor who has maintained his own households (with family as well) during my career and covered those of colleagues and friends who were away for lengthy periods of time (sabbaticals, etc). I am therefore experienced and understand the concerns of those who need a sitter. I am native to the U.S. but have lived many years abroad as well although I now spend most of my time back in the U.S. Taking up house sitting has led me to places that perhaps I would have skipped in life's journeys and has introduced me to new ways of life which can vary just from town to town; a learning adventure as well. I write when not feeding plants and/or animals or attending to the well being of the home. It’s a modest adventure which provides me and the owners comfort. I do have a love of the outdoors and the sea.
