House Sitter in Traverse City, Michigan

My name is Miriam, and I grew up living in the heart of Sleeping Bear Dunes. I received my degree in Freshwater Studies: Global Policy and Sustainability from Northwestern Michigan College in 2013, am working at the Grand Traverse Conservation District as the Northwestern Michigan Invasive Species Network Outreach Assistant. I have extensive experience that makes me an excellent house sitter. Throughout middle- and high-school, I had regular babysitting gigs. I have cared for infants, pre-school children, up to providing after school supervision for young teens. I am compassionate, and have the special patience it requires to care for children with special needs. In 2014, I provided daily care for a young autistic boy, and it was a challenge that I enjoyed. I am a Certified Michigan State University Master Gardener, and can ensure that your house plants and gardens get the attention that need. I have had cats and dogs my entire life, and have a close bond with my parents' cats and dog. I enjoy playing, running, and training dogs new commands. I am happy to provide references upon request.
