I am a long term resident of the Charlottesville/Albemarle area (25 years) and work part-time as a health and movement coach. My schedule allows for short or long term house/pet sitting. Besides taking care of your home and walking your dogs, I can take care of your mail, plants, take out trash and recycling for you. If you have other chores, we can discuss them. I have experience taking care of older dogs with health issues. Once upon a time, I actually had 5 dogs, all with some kind of disability' three leged, blind and deaf, one eyed, fearful of strangers, and one who barked at nothing. I can give meds and hand feed dogs if needed. I would be happy to meet you and your pet(s) to see if we're a match.

Aila has been a fabulous house and pet-sitter for us on many occasions. Our pets adore her and are always thrilled to see her when she comes to the house. Aila is one of the most responsible house and pet sitters I have ever used. She takes care of your home as if it was her own. Aila has been tending to my home, plants and pets for many years and has always shown a level of care and responsibility that leaves me totally worry free when she is in charge. She handles emergencies – trees down in the driveway, power failures, etc. – with calm competence. You can absolutely trust her to take care of your home while you are away.
