ABOUT ME: I am a mature and intuitive Georgia Tech student with a flexible schedule and affinity for animals. Although I am majoring in Computer Science and work in IT, I do not consider myself to be your typical "nerd". I live a very well-balanced lifestyle and am always apt for adventure! I come from a very culturally-rich background and have been traveling the world since before I could speak (I haven't been everywhere yet, but it's on my list). I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and other outdoor activities; however, I'm not immune to wanting to spend time on the couch reading/watching tv or at home simply relaxing. I am very independent and easy-going and can easily adapt to many environments and adhere to strict guidelines without trouble. Respect, trust, integrity, and honesty are values I hold close to me and definitely incorporate in my house-sitting practices and everyday life. Leaving your cherished home/pets in the hands of a stranger is intimidating and a bit unsettling. I will not take advantage of your absence and disrespect your house or do what I please with disregard. If you want to feel as stress-free as possible during your time away, you should consider me to help accommodate your wants and needs. My goal is to maintain a comfortable yet professional relationship with you, and with open communication I hope we can establish that! ANIMAL BACKGROUND: I grew up around dogs and cats in my early years, learning responsibility and proper care techniques. I have owned numerous cats, an English cocker spaniel, black lab mix, and german shepherd mix who I treat as my own babies and taught numerous tricks to (including downward dog yoga pose, speak on command, roll-over, sit, stay, lay down, stand up, etc). I have had a lot of experience with many dogs of all sizes and ages in multiple environments such as introducing them to new friends (people, animals), walking multiple energetic dogs at once, playing at the dog park, volunteering at the Atlanta Humane Society, and so on. I recognize the importance of good training and discipline as well as affection and bonding. Animals not only respect but also admire me as much as I do them. I will strive to make sure all your pet's needs are met and they have as much as a fulfilling time spent with me as they would if you were right there with them. I will love and care for him/her and give them the proper attention and play time they deserve. I am very good at following instructions and will respect any rules you may have regarding how I must attend to both you and your pet's needs.
