Brendan Micik was recommended to me by an award-winning community servant who is also a trusted friend. Prior to hiring Brendan, I also had the opportunity to observe his work ethic and personality in his role with the United Way of Greenwich Wiffle Ball Tournament. Frankly, I hired Brendan to be a positive young male role model for my son. He lives by a strong level of standards for himself: moral code, physical discipline, high attention to detail, neatness, gentle spirit, kind to others. While hired as a babysitter, Brendan also attends to all other aspects of a house sitter and encourages my son to do these tasks as part of his daily chores, Brendan Micik is a remarkable young man.

I was having trouble finding someone to watch my 14 month old son. My wife and I don't live close to relatives and we've been such homebodies that when some commitments overlapped we didn't know who to call. A former work colleague and mutual friend suggested I meet Brendan. He was available to meet with us that same day just to be introduced to our little guy, and then babysit the following night if all went well. First impressions are of course very important and Brendan immediately struck us as being both kind and trustworthy. Our son is very shy and sometimes even family members make him cry. Not Brendan. They found a rapport quite easily and were playing together within minutes. My wife and I knew right away that our son would be in good hands. When Brendan watched him everything went fine. He was able to give him a bottle of milk and put him to bed at the right hour with no issues at all. I arrived home surprised to see that he had even tidied up all the toys and in the kitchen as well, neither of which we had asked for. We highly recommend Brendan and we look forward to calling him again in the future. He is friendly, competent, and professional, all making him very easy to work with.
