House Sitter in Marshall, North Carolina
I'm an
Individual
Hello, My name is Lydia Griffith and I just moved to Marshall. I work at the Wake Robins Farm Bakery, baking fresh wood fired organic bread, and am interning at HorseSense of the Carolinas. I am looking for a home that needs a winter caretaker. I love animals and gardening and would be more than happy to tend your land and flock (be it goats, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, or any other). I am hardworking and tidy. My daughter, Almah (9 years) would be living with me and she is a very bright and respectful young lady. She is currently attending the Woodson Branch Nature school and loves to do farm chores! The last place that we watched over involved caring for land and house, as well as 30 chickens, 5 dogs, 1 parakeet, and 5 goats (including milking!). We would prefer a long term winter engagement, but are open to shorter stays. Kindness is my priority, as well as teaching my daughter a good work ethic and patience. When I am not working, I read, draw and dance. Please feel free to contact me for a meeting, references, or any other information. Thank you!
