In addition to our extensive experience with a wide range of properties in various countries we have unique talents drawn from both our professional careers and personal lives that could benefit you and your home. Doug is a retired award winning architect with a great understanding of homes and their operations and Charlene was a top ranked technology executive skilled at identifying and solving problems promptly and properly. We also owned rental properties, which we respected, and we nurtured both city and country gardens. Our personal property ownership experiences included rejuvenating a quirky century old row home and garden in downtown Toronto. Before we retired we rehabilitated a riverfront country home in Western Quebec and lived there for 15 years. We brought our stewardship methods to this riverfront country home, its pond ,gardens, wildlife and wooded four acre lot. Some photos are included. Our experience in caring for the homes of others includes homes in Canada, the US, Greece ,Ireland, Mexico, France, Italy and the UK. This range of experience plus our backgrounds and love for one another make us a great team who can quickly grasp the personality of every home, identify its unique traits and take command of any issue that might arise. We treat every home, garden and pet as if it were our own and take pride in ensuring everything we care for remains unchanged or is improved in some manner. Finally, in many of the houses in which we have "sat" we have been responsible for problems that would have caused great damage to the homeowner if we had not been there. Short examples: major water pipe burst in the yard, furnace goes off in mid-winter, electric lines go out, etc.--All of these examples needed someone on-site to manage.
